Our Data Pledge

Your data is never sold, and it stays yours.

Last reviewed October 2026

Preamble

The organizations that use Decurion hold some of the most personal information people ever share: their health, housing, and family. That information was given in trust, to get help.

This pledge sets out how we honor that trust. It covers the data of every organization we serve, and every member of our team follows it.

This pledge describes how we work. The legal terms of your service are set in your agreement with us.

  1. Article 1: We never sell data

We do not sell, rent, license, or trade any data held in Decurion, to anyone, in any form. This includes records, usage data, and data that has been grouped or stripped of names.

  2. Article 2: We never share for profit

We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, marketing partners, or anyone who would use it to sell something. No Decurion screen carries advertising.

  3. Article 3: Data is used to help

We use data in Decurion only to provide and secure the service, and to help your organization make informed decisions that get people the help they need.

  4. Article 4: Your data belongs to you

Your organization owns its data. We keep it safe on your behalf and never claim it as ours. The people you serve can ask your organization to see and correct what is recorded about them.

  5. Article 5: We collect only what is needed

Every field we build in must serve the work. Your team decides what its own forms ask, and we encourage asking only for details that help someone.

  6. Decurion shares a record with another organization only after a recorded yes from the person it describes, unless the law requires otherwise. That yes names who receives what, and why, and the person can withdraw it at any time.

  7. Article 7: Access is set by role

Your organization sets what each role can see. Every view and change is recorded in an audit trail your organization can read.

  8. Article 8: No training for others

We never use your records to train or improve tools for any other organization or company. What your organization holds in Decurion serves your organization alone.

  9. Article 9: You can always leave

Any organization can export all of its data whenever it asks, in formats other software can read, at no charge. Leaving Decurion should be as easy as joining it.

  10. Article 10: We keep only what we must

Your organization sets a retention period for each kind of record. When a period ends, we delete the data as you direct, unless it must be kept longer.

  11. Article 11: We will tell you

If data is exposed, we tell the affected organization what happened, in plain words, and what we are doing about it. Your agreement sets the terms of that notice.
